Obtain a Japanese driver’s license, if I do not have a driver’s license from my home country.
There are two ways 2 options
Option 1
1.- Enroll or enroll in a Japanese school there they will offer you many ways to obtain it, but remember that you have to take a final exam of 100 questions in the traffic department of your prefecture or department where you belong or are registered (place where you live) for example.
If you live in a city that belongs to Tokyo it has to be in Tokyo if you belong to Chiba in Chiba, if you live in Saitama look for the Saitama transit department that is in the city of Kounosu, some Japanese schools do not accept foreigners who do not whether or not they understand the Japanese language, that’s why most foreigners prefer the second option.
Option 2
Driving school for foreigners.
The school you choose has to know the procedure well since the entire process will be carried out in the traffic department (Menkyo Center) that you decide to carry out.
The process to obtain a Japanese driver’s license is as follows:
50 questions so far there are in 5 languages Japanese English Chinese Portuguese Vietnamese.
50 questions.
Practical test (driving) within the traffic department (menkyo center).
Take a first aid course lasting approximately 8 hours.
100 question exam.
Practical test (driving) on the street super easy if your teacher knows the routes.
